A novice Poet I become, an experienced soul I am,, comments and "your" thoughts on how you felt when reading.
Color my World"
Clear blue skies, Palm Trees that blow whispers in night,
Oceans green blue and gray, caps of enchanting white,
Sands of spattered cream, shells that endlessly shine,
Lady Godiva appears, my vision of goddess is consigned.
To this picture of beauty in front of me, oh the joy I feel,
Naked brushstrokes flow freely, my soul begins to heal.
You color my world, bedroom eyes matching the calming sea,
Mesmerized by your movements, you set my inhibitions free.
Mountains they rise, the backdrop of this place quiet, serene,
My heart on fire, you color my world, your soul, pristine.
Completing the cycle, the cycle of love, just you and me...
Lay with me now, and.... "Color my World"
A day to celebrate LADIES a poem of affection,, thoughts welcomed?
its so......i cant describe it! Its really good though.
Reply:The color of your world is brown. The same shade that drops from the rear end of a male bovine.
Reply:BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Your poem reminded me of the artwork of Steve Hanks. Google him and you will agree with me, I think.

Reply:I loved it I give u a 10. GOD BLESS
Reply:its thoughtful, creative and soo relaxing! how 'bout making it into a song?!?! good luck! ^_^
Reply:It's nice, it makes me think of two people in a log cabin in the moutains overlooking the sea. The woman standing on the blacony the wind blowing her dress around. The guy standing back watching her, painting a portrait of her. Then he becomes so taken with her, that he asks her to be with him.
Reply:I LOVE IT!!!!! it's so romantic and surreal. i felt like i was in this basement that was your painting studio and you were reading it. it's a great poem
Reply:Terrible. Trite. This is like an imitation of an amalgamation of all the corny love poems in a Reader's Digest collection. It's full of cliches and insincere parroting of grandiose phrases.
It would be better to use honest, real feelings and perceptions, and genuine images that are your own.
Reply:i feel LIGHT at first... and then SMOTHERED!
the same feeling when i've had too much sugar!!!

23 weeks pregnant - This morning my hands started itching! They've been itching all day... What's up?
This morning in the shower my hands starting itching, mostly my palms.
What could be causing this? Is it just one of those normal crazy pregnancy things or is it cause for concern?
I have an appointment next week and I'll be sure to mention it just in case but I just wanted to get some opinions from you ladies.
I'm 23 weeks.
Thanks in advance!

Dry skin can be a factor in itching during pregnancy; however, there are also other causes of itching that are due to conditions that some pregnant women get. Make sure that you tell your ob/gyn about the itching so that you can be evaluated if it's not simply just dry skin.
My niece, who just gave birth to her second child a few days ago, had a condition called cholestasis in pregnancy, which has to do with the liver not working properly and there is an overload of bile in the system. It's something that needs to be taken care of right away b/c it does have complications.
http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnan...
She was dx'd with it during her first pgcy at around 35 weeks, and they were discussing inducing her, but she ended up going on her own. This time around she began to itch sometime last week. There is a 60-70% chance of a woman coming down with this condition during subsequent pregnancies. Sure enough, this was the problem again, and my niece was induced on Monday at 38+wks. Both babies were fine, and my niece is fine so far, though the liver levels are elevated.
There is also a condition known as PUPPPS...

I wish you all the best. Please talk to your doctor about the itching.
Reply:Tell your doctor about this! There is a condition called cholestasis that is very serious but manageable. (I know because I have it now.) Itching on the palms and soles of your feet is a telltale sign. It is very rare, about 1 in 1000 pregnancies, but serious. I was diagnosed with cholestasis at 29 weeks. The prognosis is LOTS of testing. I go in twice a week for sonograms and get my blood tested every other week (every week if the results show rising levels of bile in my blood). And you will definitely get induced for labor around 37 weeks.
Reply:I think some itching can be normal. The blood flow increases to your skin, so it can have some weird side effects. However, my cousin had a problem where her liver was secreting bile to her skin and she itched CONSTANTLY through her third trimester. Just talk to your doctor to rule that out. It can result in some serious problems if it's untreated. Good luck!
Reply:I had the same problem when I was pregnant. Nothing to worry about it is very common. Just your hormones acting up again. But definitely mentioned it to your doctor. and if it gets too severe call your doctors office. Trust me they get calls and questions like this all the time.

There is some good info on this website about the strange things that happen while pregnant...BTW: I just asked a question about itching earlier today and found out maybe I have one of these conditions. good luck.
Reply:This has nothing to do with being pregnant. Your skin is probably dry, which explains the itching. I get eczema on my hands and when they get wet, they get super itchy.
Reply:Most likely its just hormones. My feet started itching a few weeks ago and i get itchy every now and then.
Reply:if you just got out the shower you probably just need lotion my hands are like that all the time after i get out the shower
Reply:i think its just that the weather is dry///.. lotsa things happen in preg. not all have good reasons... the itching will pass

Name this movie (I dont remember the name of it)?
It's an Asian movie, it's not very old (maybe 04-06). The movie it's an action/comedy. I remember the main character been not very old very skilled in artial arts and stunts (not so credible, kind of Dragon Ball Z, they fly run very fast, like in a japanese cartoon) and anoher main character it's the land lady of the building he lives in, he tries to kill her sometimes unsucsessfully. Remember the effects been good ones, the fighting sequences are cool, with lots of wires and secret techniques like the turttle one or the palm also. THANX hope u do know this one
Name this movie (I dont remember the name of it)?
...you're talking about the out-and-out riotous and outrageously funny martial arts comedy, "Kung Fu Hustle", from 2004, and starring/directed by Stephen Chow...
...if you liked this film, get ready to stay tuned, 'cause there is a sequel in the works, for 2008...
...for the time being, in case you have not seen it, you might also want to check out Stephen's previous (and equally funny) martial arts comedy, "Shaolin Soccer", from 2001...

Poetry for the LADIES.. come to the beach... comments welcome :)?
"Color my World"
Clear blue skies, Palm Trees that blow whispers in night,
Oceans green blue and gray, caps of enchanting white,
Sands of spattered cream, shells that endlessly shine,
Lady Godiva appears, my vision of goddess is consigned.

Naked brushstrokes flow freely, my soul begins to heal.
You color my world, bedroom eyes matching the calming sea,
Mesmerized by your movements, you set my inhibitions free.
Mountains they rise, the backdrop of this place quiet, serene,
My heart on fire now, you color my world, your soul, pristine.
Lay with me now, and.... "Color my World"

wow, you're very good. I liked your use of words. The way you described everything made it feel like you were there. Good luck with the girl you wrote it for, i'm sure she'll like it.
Reply:I pictured myself there on the beach "coloring". Very nice, tommy C.
Reply:Thats beautiful if you wrote that you defiantly have a talent. Try writing something like that except describing a girl. It will win her over. If she isnt goth or punk or emo or a cutter or something like that.
Reply:Awww Beautiful..as always a pleasure to read your poetry! xo

Ladies, where are the gorgeous GOOD girls at?
Here's some background: I'm 25, I moved to Tampa Bay, FL area a few months ago and for my job I travel around the state to hotels (only job I've ever liked) and do work for them. I meet great possible girls through the job but the problem is that they're far away and I'm not up for the long distance thing so I don't take it there. About 6 months ago I broke up with an ex of 4 years because we just grew apart. I'm not jaded or all messed up over her it just didn't work out.
Ladies and Gentlemen, where would you suggest I go to meet GOOD girls? Ive been to the clubs in South Beach, Miami, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale etc but I am looking for quality girls and not easy girls. I want that which isn't common. Help a guy out! -J

meet girls at respectable places. Not bars ro clubs,.Library- cofee house- church. gym. get a hobby. take night classes ina rt or something where you can meet a good woman. have a friend hook you up with a good gir.l
Reply:troubledone hit the nail on the head. that's what i was going to say. no sense repeating answers here, but i'd take her advice.
Reply:Find a church you like. Don't go for the girls. Find somewhere that is in line with your beliefs. That way, if you meet someone there, they are likely to have the same moral guidelines as yourself. I wouldn't recommend going to clubs for girls. I consider myself a real good girl and I never go to those places and even if I did and a guy approached me, I wouldn't go out with him because that's not where I would want to meet someone.
A lot of churches have great singles groups. You might also want to try joining community activities. The more new places you experience, the more likely you will be to meet good quality girls. Believe me, we're all over the place.
Reply:There are plenty of girls who are good and good looking me for example....you just have to keep your eyes open, look for places you may see good girls, church, malls, sometimes bars, schools. You just have to look.

Incapacity benefit medical help?
I went for a medical yeterday as Im suffering from severe depression and anxiety, im also cing a phycologist. the lady I saw was great. when I first went in and started talking I immeditaly broke down in tears. Is this all based on points system wheter u carry on getting benefit? I did make an effot with my apperance but I always do as Im self consious about my apperance. I dont sleep well maybe 5 hrs max a night and told them I need help with my 15month old. I also have blackout every month. I also told them I have to leave certain circumstances if I feel a attack coming on e.g. she said if u were in a supermarket and there was lots of people and u felt anxious would I leave or stay in q. I said Id HAVE to leave. I also said when I feel anxious my palms go sweaty, my heart beats faster and it feels like I have a 50stone man sitting on my chest and the sweat is running down my back. she also mentioned my weight as I have went from 8st10 to 7st. and dress size 8 to under a size 4 (uk)!
Incapacity benefit medical help?
Your anxiety is obvious to me, as someone who has some experience of this situation I would advise you to calm down and try not to worry (easier said than done I know) as I feel sure that the decision for benefits will certainly be in your favour.
And yes it is based on a points system called 'Descriptors' which awards you points on your physical and mental health at the time of the medical examination
If an appeal is required please do not hesitate to contact your local citizens advice bureau who will I assure be only to happy to help you with your claim though I do not expect it will come to this.
Good luck to you now and in the future you will be in my thoughts..
Reply:Hi i am in pretty much the same boat as you i lost my mum and brother in 2005 i went back to work for a2 months then couldnt handle it anymore and have been off sick ever since. i also suffer from depression and anxiety. when i first left work they put me on incapacity benefit then they changed me to income support. if you are like me and have all the backing of your doctors behind you then they cant do much about it. i like you worked all my life (im 24) and hated the thought of claming benefits but like the lady int he job centre said to me you have paid in all your life and have a valid reason so why shouldnt you claim. so basically what im trying to say is if they do stop incapacity you will most liekly get income support after all you have a child to look after they can tleave you stranded with nothing. And like i said as long as you have doctors notes they cant do diddly squat. hope this all makes sense!
good luck xx
Reply:I sympathise, but i don't understand/see your question. You NEED to eat. The world is not always a nice place, but we have a duty to TRY and fulfil our body's needs. Good luck. I would be very surprised if you aren't awarded Incapacity Benefit - try (not easy) not to worry.
If for any reason, they fail your claim, you can always appeal. The Citizen's advice Bureau are always willing to help.
Reply:I wish you well with your IB claim but I cant believe you said "I've worked all my life". You are only 26. You spent more years at school than working so you've hardly paid anything into to the system. You've got another 40 years of working life to come yet. Good luck with your claim anyway.
Reply:Incapacity benefit is an earnings replacement. It can only be assessed by the descision makers at the DWP. You will recieve a letter telling you if your claim has been successful. If you have been turned down, you may appeal against the descion made. As you have a small child there is no reason why you should be forced to go to work. You should be able to claim income support and child tax credits. If you live on your own with your liltle one you should be able to get Housing Benefit and council tax benefit too. You should contact your Citizens Advice Bureau for a benefit check. I think you need to maybe get a second opinion on your health issues. You obviously need some extra support. Check with the CAB's local information and see if there are any support networks in your area.

Bumps that come & go on wrists and knees?
it all started witch my palms being really itchy as i was in the store buying some lotion for my hands my wrists broke out... (its just spots that swell up eventually making one big white swelled up spot) after i put the benadryl itch stopping creme on it, it went away... the next day i helped to clean out a shed where there were dead spiders and lady bugs, a lot of spider webs with some spider eggs... that day my knees and feet broke out the same way my wrists did the day earlier... now this has been going on for about 5 days... it comes and goes...
Bumps that come %26amp; go on wrists and knees?
may have gotten bitten by something in shed if it goes away with benadryl that's good. Maybe a trip to the Dr. will help figure it out what it is and give you something to make it go away for good
